Two popular singers Tony Tetuila and Tic Tac have sued Nigerian superstar Wizkid over copyright infringement -The individuals noted that the musician did not give them credit after sampling their song Fefe Ne Efe in 2019 single Gbese – Both Tetuila and Tic Tac have demanded the sum of N30 million from Wizkid It appears the year 2019 is coming to an end for Nigerian singer Wizkid with more drama following claims that have been made by senior colleagues Tony Tetuila and Ghanaian music star Tic Tac. Just recently, Legit.ng learnt that the individuals have sued the Nigerian superstar over copyright infringement. According to popular music blog Tooxclusive.com, the plaintiffs in an interview with Hitz FM presenter Andy Dosty, disclosed that Wizkid did not give them credit after sampling their song Fefe Ne Efe in a 2019 joint titled Gbese, which he released with DJ Tunez. Tetuila and Tic Tac will be seeking damages up to the tune of N30 million from Starboy, and will also be seeking 35% of both digital sales and royalties that Wizkid and DJ Tunez received from the music single.
